Attendance and Tardiness

Preschool will begin promptly according to the scheduled class time, please make sure your child arrives on time to each class.  There will be no reduction in tuition fees due to missed school days.

Arrival and Departure

For the safety of the students, please drop off and pick up as close to the scheduled class time as possible.  Tiny Tikes Preschool is not responsible for providing care before or after class.  Phone calls/texts are appreciated if you are running late.  If you are more than 10 minutes late for pick up, a $5 fee will be added every 10 minutes.  This fee will be due within 2 business days.

Allergies

Parents must provide copies of all necessary information associated with a child's allergy.  This includes explanation of care and treatment, medicines used, and continuity of care.  Parents must inform the school of any changes that may occur.

Birthdays/Holidays

We love any reason to celebrate!  Birthdays are a very special day for your child, so we invite you to send a special treat with your tiny tike on their special day.  If there are certain holidays that you are not comfortable with your child celebrating with the class, please inform Ms. Jocelyn so that accommodations can be made in advance.

Care of School Property

Parents will be responsible for any property witnessed to be maliciously damaged by their child.

Guests

We have an open door policy with parents and families.  Parents are welcomed and encouraged to visit or volunteer.  We are limited to one volunteer or visitor per class, so please notify Ms. Jocelyn in advance so that there are no scheduling conflicts with other visitors.

Field Trips

We will plan to take two field trips during the year, one in the fall and one in the spring.  Additional fees (No more than $5) may occur depending on the trip.

Health Policies

In order to help prevent the spread of disease or infection and keep our children as healthy as possible, DO NOT bring your child to school if they are experiencing any sort of sickness, including:

• Fever

• Coughing

• Nausea/Vomiting

• Sore Throat

• Diarrhea

If your child is exhibiting any of the symptoms above at school, your child will be removed from the classroom immediately and you will be notified to come pick up your child.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS.  Your child will not be permitted back in our classroom until they have gone 24 hours without any symptoms

Due to the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, all surfaces and toys will be sanitized after each class.
